The Little League World Series 2009 baseball semi-finals continued today in South Williamsport, PA with Chinese, Taipei (2-1) vs Curacao (3-0) teams competing against each other. Curacao is the favorite here today, but Curacao’s games so far in this Little League World Series have had very close scores.
Things were quiet for the first few innings, with no score on the board.
In the 4th inning, Chinese, Taipei made one run on an RBI. Another run in the 5th inning and Chinese, Taipei led 3-0.
In the 6 inning, Tang-Fu Cheng made a home run for Chinese, Taipei.
Two RBI runs in the 6th inning put Curacao on the board with two runs.
Final score – 5-2 Chinese, Taipei
And with that the Curacao team has been eliminated from the 2009 Little League World Series of baseball.
Chinese, Taipei will move on to play Mexico on Saturday at the Little League World Series 2009 International Championship at 12 EST.
